Our Approach to E&P Company Research is wholly independent and conflict-free. Our analysts are seasoned industry professionals each with 20yrs+ experience in global exploration, development and production who have, or can access through our networks, direct knowledge of the assets which under-pin the companies we analyse. Working in tandem with our commercial, financial and political analysts who provide expertise, for example, on concession terms and commercial activity within the industry, we produce an insightful and distinctive research product.
In supporting our range of services and products, Richmond Energy is exposed to a wide range and depth of industry activity. We choose to concentrate our research on International E&Ps in the $500m to $10bn market capitalisation range and we have particular experience of Europe, Africa, Middle East and the Asia-Pacific, and we revise our coverage as companies are acquired.
Our REP30 Insights product for 2010 covers 30 international E&P companies in detail. Their assets are distributed as shown on the above map. We revise our coverage each year to replace companies acquired during the course of 2010 or to add new companies with operating in interesting areas.
We have a database of over 300 small and mid-sized E&P companies, and in-depth knowledge or experience of a significant proportion of these in addition to the REP30.
