Alastair Bee Dr. Alastair Bee: After completing a Ph. D. in geochemistry at Imperial College Alastair joined BP in 1973 as a geologist. In a 30 year career with BP, he held a number of posts in technical and team leadership, and held senior managerial positions in the UK, Middle East, South East Asia and Australasia. Alastair also held several business management positions including a period in Strategic Planning in BP’s Head Office and leadership of BP’s Middle East Business Development activities. He has specialist knowledge of exploration, field development, business development and global oil and gas supply issues.

 


Keith Myers Dr Keith Myers: After completing a Ph. D. at Imperial College, Keith joined BP in 1987 as a geologist. Following a variety of technical roles, he became a Senior Commercial Advisor in 1996 when he led several major negotiations for new business access as well as Business Strategies for BP’s business in West Africa and BP’s Strategic Alliance with Statoil. Since 2000 Keith has been an advisor to numerous energy companies on strategy and partnership issues   Keith founded Richmond Energy Partners in 2006 to provide independent advice to investors in smaller oil and gas companies.  Richmond Energy advise some of the largest funds and institutions investing in the sector.   Keith takes a keen interest in oil sector governance and served on the organising committee of the Good Governance of the National Petroleum Sector Project at the think tank Chatham House.

 


Dr David Moore: After completing a Ph.D. at King's College London, David joined Texaco in 1979 as a geologist working in the North Sea. He moved to BP in 1985 and to Jakarta to work on exploration in Indonesia. After returning to Head Office David became involved in global new ventures before focusing principally on Russia and the Former Soviet Union. He was a technical advisor for the industry consortium negotiating the first PSA to explore in Kazakhstan.  David joined Statoil's business development team in 2002 to lead varous asset evaluation teams.  He has a depth of knowledge of exploration, business development and global exploration trends, especially in gas.
